Imbitaryo

Terms of Service

Last updated October 18, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Imbitaryo (“we”) for using the Imbitaryo website and service, whether you are a host creating an invitation or a guest replying to one. We’ve tried to write them plainly.

Using Imbitaryo

Imbitaryo lets a host create a digital invitation, keep a guest list with a set number of seats for each guest, share one link, and collect replies. Guests open the link, find their invitation by name and reply, without an account.

By creating an account, creating an event, or replying to an invitation, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use Imbitaryo.

Host accounts

You need an account to create events. Use an email address you can receive mail at, keep your password to yourself, and tell us at support@imbitaryo.com if you think someone else has got into your account. You are responsible for what is done through your account.

Host accounts are for adults who are organising an event.

Event creation

You choose what your invitation says and shows, who is on the guest list, and how many seats each guest may fill. A guest slot is one seat, not one invitation: a family invited with four seats uses four slots. How many events and guest slots you may have depends on your plan, as shown on the pricing section of our home page.

Each event has a private editing link you can give to a co-host or planner. Anyone who has that link can edit the event and see its guest list and photos without signing in, so share it only with people you trust.

Guest invitations

An invitation is reached through its link. Guests identify themselves by the name their invitation is under, not by a password. This keeps replying simple, and it also means that someone who has the link and knows a guest’s name could reply in their place. Hosts should share links with the people invited, and check their guest list if a reply looks wrong.

Acceptable use

Please don’t use Imbitaryo to:

  • break the law, or invite people to something unlawful;
  • harass, threaten, deceive or impersonate anyone;
  • send invitations to people as spam or advertising;
  • upload content that is hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or that you have no right to share;
  • collect other people’s personal information for purposes unrelated to your event;
  • get into events, accounts or data that aren’t yours, or disrupt or overload the service;
  • copy, resell or rebuild the service.

User submitted content

“Content” means what you put into Imbitaryo: event details, guest names and notes, replies, and photos. You are responsible for your content and for having the right to share it.

We may remove content, or an event, that breaks these terms or that we are legally required to remove.

Event Camera photos

When a host turns on the Event Camera, each invitation gets a small number of shots to take during the event. There are no retakes. A photo you take as a guest is sent to the event’s host, who may view, download and keep it.

  • Event Camera photos are private to the host and are not shown on the invitation.
  • They are kept by Imbitaryo only for a limited time after the event, as described in our Privacy Policy. After that they cannot be recovered, so hosts should download the ones they want.
  • Take photos considerately. Don’t photograph people who have asked not to be, and don’t take photos that would embarrass or harm someone.

Host responsibilities

As a host, you are responsible for:

  • the accuracy of your event’s details, including its date, time and venue;
  • having a proper reason to add each guest’s name, and treating your guests’ information and replies with care;
  • the photos you upload, and how you use the Event Camera photos you receive;
  • who you give your invitation link and private editing link to;
  • the event itself. Imbitaryo provides the invitation, not the celebration.

Guest responsibilities

As a guest, please:

  • reply only for your own invitation and the people it covers;
  • give accurate names and answers, since the host plans around them;
  • use the Event Camera, if it is offered, considerately.

Ownership of user content

Your content stays yours. By putting it into Imbitaryo, you give us permission to store it, process it and show it as needed to run the service for you: for example, to display your invitation to people who have its link, and to deliver a guest’s photo to the host. We don’t claim ownership of your content and we don’t use it for advertising.

Imbitaryo intellectual property

The Imbitaryo name, the website, its software, and its invitation designs and artwork belong to Imbitaryo. You may use the designs for your own invitations made on Imbitaryo. You may not copy, sell or reuse them elsewhere.

Availability of the service

We work to keep Imbitaryo running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. It may be interrupted for maintenance, by problems at the companies that host it, or by things outside our control.

Because an event has a date that can’t move, we suggest keeping your own copy of your guest list, and downloading the Event Camera photos you want to keep.

Beta features

Imbitaryo is currently in Beta. That means it is being tested and improved with real hosts, and:

  • features, designs and limits may change, be added or be removed;
  • things may not always work as intended, and we may need to fix them quickly;
  • the Beta is free: nothing is charged, and no payment details are asked for;
  • we may end the Beta, or change what it includes, at any time.

We’d like to hear what works and what doesn’t. Write to us at support@imbitaryo.com.

Account suspension or termination

You can stop using Imbitaryo at any time. You can delete your events from your dashboard, and ask us to close your account by writing to support@imbitaryo.com.

We may suspend or close an account, or remove an event, if it breaks these terms, puts other people or the service at risk, or if the law requires it. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.

Limitations

Imbitaryo is a tool for sending invitations and collecting replies. To the extent the law allows:

  • the service is provided as it is, especially during the Beta, without a promise that it will meet every need or never fail;
  • we are not responsible for an event itself, for whether guests attend, or for what hosts and guests say, upload or do;
  • we are not responsible for losses that come from someone sharing a link or a name with people who shouldn’t have it.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights the law gives you that cannot be waived.

Changes to the service

We may change Imbitaryo and these terms as the service develops. When the terms change we will update this page and the date at the top, and if a change is significant we will say so on the site or by email to hosts. Continuing to use Imbitaryo after a change means you accept the updated terms.
